THE EMIGRANT’S WALK
One Last Look Home
Walk in the footsteps of those who left
WHAT WOULD YOU TAKE WITH YOU?
If you knew you might never come home.
During the Great Hunger, thousands left the communities around Carntogher, walking away from the people and places they knew in search of a new life across the Atlantic.
The Emigrant’s Walk invites you to follow in their footsteps — through the landscape they left behind and the stories, memories and emotions of those who went.

WHAT WILL I EXPERIENCE?
More than a walk through the landscape.
